Alderman Peyton Harper
Peyton is currently serving his first term as City Alderman. Born and raised in Trenton, Tennessee, he graduated from Peabody High School in 2004 and attended the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). Upon graduating in 2008, he returned home to work with his grandfather, and in 2016 took over his families farming operation, Harper Farms. He credits Trenton, and the people of Trenton, for playing an integral part in shaping him into the person he is today.
Peyton is actively involved in various community groups such as Farm Bureau, FSA Advisory Committee, Elks, and serves as a Director on the Gibson Farmers CO-OP board.
Peyton and his wife, Jill, have been married for 6 years and attend First Presbyterian Church. They have a son, Boone, and a daughter, Rhea.
