Michael "Bubba" Abbott

     Michael is currently serving in his 2nd term as City Alderman. He has been in the grocery business since 1965 and is now the store manager at Food-Rite in Trenton. He graduated from Peabody High School and attended the University of Tennessee of Martin.   Michael is actively involved with many community projects including Chairman of Relay for Life in 2006 and 2007, Chairman of the Teapot Festival for 2008, Partners in Education, the Taste of LeBonheur, the Elks Club, Rotary, and is an active supporter of the Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
      Michael and his wife Kathy live at 133 Lynmark Street and attend the First Presbyterian Church where he is an Elder. They have a daughter, Cicily, and a son-in-law Clint who also live in Trenton.
 
  Also, he has 2 grandchildren Grey 6 & Lily 2.

  Rickey Graves

Mr. Graves is a lifelong resident of Trenton and has been married to his wife Susan for 28 years. He is a 1971 graduate of Peabody High School and a 1973 graduate of The Tennessee Technology Center at Newbern TN. He is a member and associate minister at Souls Harbor United Pentecostal Church in Trenton.

Mr. Graves is currently the Director of the Gibson Co. Emergency Management Agency since July, 2001. Since his appointment as Director Graves has worked closely with the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) as well as The Tennessee Dept. of Homeland Security to secure over $3 million dollars in grants for Gibson County. Mr. Graves has also worked through the Federal Emergency Management Agency during and after disasters to secure over $28 million in Federal Reimbursements to Gibson County and the cities of Gibson County for damages that had occurred to infrastructure of roads, streets, highways, and utilities throughout the county.

Mr. Graves has served two terms as President of the West Tennessee Emergency Management Association, and two terms as President of the Emergency Management Association of Tennessee .Mr. Graves was the 2007 recipient of the Emergency Management Association of Tennessee Achievement Award for outstanding service to the Emergency Management community and the citizens of the state of Tennessee. He is currently the Chairman of the legislative committee for the Emergency Management Association of Tennessee.

Mr. Graves was elected to the Trenton City Council in the Nov. 4, 2014 elections.

Frank Gibson

              Frank is serving as City Alderman for the fourth time since 1999.  He is a graduate of Peabody High School and received a B.S. in Education from Bethel College in 1966.  Frank retired with 40 years of experience as a Science Teacher and Basketball Coach after working for the Dresden, Gibson County and Trenton School Districts.  He also was a swimming instructor for 44 years with students spanning the ages from 1-70, as well as from six foreign countries.

 

              He is a member of the Gibson County and Bethel College Sports Hall of Fame, and served as chairman of the Elks Annual Hoop Shoot for 35 years.  Currently, he serves as committee member of the City Planning Commission, City Board of Zoning and Appeals, and is a member of the Trenton Rotary Club.

 

              Frank and his wife of 51 years, Sandra, reside at 304 Rosemont Drive and attend the First Presbyterian Church.  Frank’s passion is fishing and he has provided fish for many cookouts and fundraisers.

Joe Hammonds

      Joe is currently in his second term as a City Alderman being first elected in 2004. He is retired from Procter and Gamble after 28 years of service. Joe graduated from Jackson City Schools and received a B.S. Degree from Union University in 1966. Joe is a member of the Trenton Health Care Foundation and also is active in Nite Lite Theater of Gibson County. Joe is an accomplished singer and is an active member of the First Baptist Church.       He and his wife Lynda live at 1002 South College Street where they raised 3 children, Tonya, Jeff, and Joseph. They also have 5 grandchildren who take up a lot of Joe's time.

 Donna Leadbetter

         Dona is currently serving her first term as a member of the city council having been elected in November of 2014. She attended the University of Kentucky and was married for 24 years before losing her husband to cancer.  She is now retired after a career in the tourism and retail fields.

            Dona moved to Trenton in 2006 and soon became involved in the community.  She has been member of the Relay for Life committee since 2008, is a member of the Trenton Garden Club and is presently serving her second 2 year term as President.  She is also the vice-director for District 1 of the Tennessee Federation of Garden Clubs.   Dona has been a member of the Trenton Teapot Festival committee for three years and is honored to be the chairman of the 2015 35th Annual Festival.

            Dona resides at 906 S. High Street.  Her daughter Tracy Simmons and her two grandchildren, Matt and Sarah reside in Trenton, a son Donald and his wife Peggy reside in Alexandria, VA and her grandson Andrew serves in the US Air Force where he and his wife are currently based in Monterey, CA.


 

 George Wade

     Alderman Wade is currently in his 3rd year as a City Alderman. George worked 23 years for the Firestone Company in Milan and is currently employed by the Trenton Special School District as a bus driver.
      He graduated from Peabody High School and attended Jackson State Community College. George has served on numerous county and community committees and boards. His hobbies are reading, cooking, and playing golf.

      George and his wife Carolyn live at 1399 South Lexington Street and have two children; Kim and Kirt. They also have five grandchildren. They are members of New Spring Hill Baptist Church in Trenton.
